Fresh baked Alaskan Salmon draped with our Spicy Creole herb sauce.
- 1 Fresh Alaska center cut Salmon
- 3 Tbsp Olive or vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp Real Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp Creole spicy mustard
- pinch dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Place parchment paper in the bottom of a heavy cast iron skillet or baking dish
Add 2 Tbsp oil on top of parchment paper
In a small mixing bowl mix creole mustard and mayonnaise until well blended. Add Italian seasoning and mix well.
Coat Salmon filet with 1 Tbsp of oil
Add the sauce mixture on top of the salmon covering top and sides.
Sprinkle a dash of dried oregano on top as garnish
Place Salmon in preheated oven. Do not cover. Allow to bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the sauce is slightly brown. The internal temperature of the salmon should be at least 165 degrees.
Remove from oven, place on plate. Serve with your choice of fresh steamed vegetables or a side of mixed salad blends.
For each Alaska filet, simply double the amount of items listed in the recipe. If you desire a spicier version of the sauce, simply add cayenne pepper to the sauce mix when blending.
